Around the lake, to the rhythm of hooves
A ride in a traditional Bled carriage around the lake and through the surroundings, including a view of Bled Castle. The route is about 6 km long and passes the Bled cliffs (Straža, Ojstrica, Osojnica …). Duration up to 40 minutes.

Our traditional attire
We, the carriage drivers of Bled, are proud of our wonderful town, so we gladly show our guests one of the most beautiful places in Slovenia – Bled. The members of the Society of Bled Carriage Drivers preserve the tradition of carrying passengers in Bled carriages.
“A black jacket, trousers and hat, a white shirt, a »lajbeč« vest embroidered with Gorenjska carnations, and burgundy-red blankets and coats — this is our shared attire, of which we are proud!”
The carriage driver's craft is passed from generation to generation, from father to son. The carriages have kept their original form — only the wheels and brakes have been modernised for greater safety, and the drivers maintain them themselves.
